Alison Miller, MSPT



Alison Miller is a physical therapist and clinical supervisor of auxiliary staff at Texas Healthcare Bone & Joint. She played Division I soccer at Texas A&M University from 1997-2001 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. Alison received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Women's University in 2004 and immediately joined the team at THC Bone & Joint.

In December of 2013, Alison participated in a rehabilitation specialist mentorship program at Athlete's Performance (now EXOS) in Phoenix, Arizona. She enjoys working with athletes of all ages and from all sports. She has worked extensively with post op ACL patients, has reviewed various injury prevention performance enhancement programs, and has worked with local high school teams on ACL prevention. She also works closely with runners and triathletes to help return them to training as soon as possible, including modifying their training programs for upcoming races.

Alison is a competitive endurance athlete herself. She has competed in 11 full iron man races, numerous half iron races, various marathons, and ultra-marathons. She most recently qualified for and raced in the lronman World Championships in Kana, Hawaii in 2015 and completed the Leadville 100 trail run as her first 100 miler in 2016. Alison continues to race all over the world and is always looking forward to her next adventure! She is married to fellow triathlete Brian and has a step-daughter and a dog. Alison and Brian enjoy traveling, hiking, and racing.
