David Cummings, DPT



David is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and a graduate from The University of North Texas Health Science Center. He was raised in Austin playing baseball, learning music and exploring the hill country. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he studied biology and chemistry. After graduation he spent a year gaining personal experiences, traveling to India, and thoughtfully contemplating his next steps. Soon after, he enrolled in the School of Public Health at The University of North Texas Health Science Center where he studied clinical research and earned his Masters of Public Health. During this time he was exposed to physical therapy while working in research examining pathological movement patterns. Shortly after, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from The University of North Texas Health Science Center, where he planned and conducted research in community-based fall prevention.

David loves physical therapy because he loves helping others improve their well-being. His time away from the clinic are spent with his wife and two young children, spending time outdoors, reading, swimming, and playing the guitar are some personal interests.
